Vintage wicker sewing basket. Year 50.

Sewing basket with wicker clasp, Aqua green satin fabric interior and metal hinged lid.
The rectangular basket is composed mainly of intertwined wicker.
The lid looks padded with kapok. It is connected by 2 cotton chains of the same color as the fabric.
The upholstery of the lid is in good condition despite the pinholes of yesteryear.
The interior decorative border is complete.
The base is made of wood covered with used old paper (see photos).
Serial number at the base and "made in" whose country name is difficult to identify.
Year 50.
Some lack of wicker in 3 places (see photos).
