Cotton linen surplice of fine canvas with wide sleeves, crocheted edges and square neckline dating from the beginning of the 20th century.
Opening of the square collar closed by 2 cotton ribbons on the front.
2 shoulder ties with mother-of-pearl button.
Good condition of the crocheted part (see photos).
Very good general condition except:
- Edge of the neck opening worn (see photos).
-A few small yellowish spots on the cotton (see photos).
-A yellowish stain on the crocheted part of the bottom.
Flat measurement:
Shoulder to shoulder seam: 43 cm or 17 inches.
Armpit to armpit: 68 cm or 27 inches.
Shoulder to hem length: 79 cm or 31 inches.
Bottom crochet border width: 23 cm or 9 inches.
Width of the crocheted edge of the sleeves: 14 cm or 5 1/2 inches.
Circumference of the crocheted edge of the sleeves 76cm or 30 inches.
