Vintage Rossignol 1907 red sports tracksuit. 1990

Unique and rare tracksuit from the Rossignol collection, probably worn by an athlete in red, navy and white.
Rossignol 1907 ski team training jacket.
Its original use was to cover sportswear while being easily removable for competition.
The Rossignol 1907 logo and name is present.

The long-sleeved jacket closes at the center of the brim up to the funnel-style collar with a zipper and a silver metal puller with the symbol of the rooster in navy blue and red.
From the edge of the waist to the end of the collar, it measures 67 cm or 26 1/2 inches.

The flat width of the jacket at the armpits is 51 cm or 20 inches.
The waist band is 43 cm or 17 inches.
shoulder to shoulder seams 44.5 cm or 17 1/2 inches.

Two front pockets with side openings are also closed by an 18 cm or 7 inch zipper, each with a silver metal zipper with the symbol of the navy blue and red rooster.
Red elastic bands with white and navy blue lines at the border of this one as well as at the sleeves of 5 cm or 2 inches wide.
The red jacket is adorned with a patch featuring the rooster and the name rossignol 1907 on the left front and one sleeve with another round patch displaying an athlete in Nordic skiing, a rooster and nightingale skis.
the shoulders and the top of the sleeves are also decorated with small white and navy blue bands.

Sleeve measurements:
from the armpit to the edge of the cuffs are 54.5 cm or 21 1/2 inches.
from the shoulder seam to the edge of the cuffs 68 cm or 26 3/4 inches.
The collar is 9 cm or 3 1/2 inches.

The back of the jacket is adorned with the inscription Équipe skis rossignol 1907 as well as the rooster and two stylized branches.

An inside label on the collar displays the rooster and nightingale 1907.
