Beautiful specimen of ambrotype of a smiling girl holding guess a party or event.

Dressed in a silky fabric with stripe dress she wears a cameo. Her hair is well disciplined.

Protection carved wooden box is complete but the binding fabric worn by time gave.

The Velvet pad says "Mary Long" hand lettered.

Framing the ambrotype is formed with copper. The clasp is also in copper (see photos)
