This is a very rare copy of the famous moral work recounting the conversion of Abbé Gérard (1737-1813), who lived a life of libertinism after his studies but who rediscovered the faith and became a canon of Saint-Louis du Louvre. This book was published shortly before the French Revolution, in 1778, with the approval and privilege of the king.
