Here is a very rare copy of a small format book (11.5 x 8 cm) by Pierre Corneille (1606-1684).

HORACE, a play in five acts, is Corneille's first historical and Roman tragedy. It thus opens the second part of his career. CINNA, POLYEUCTE and THE DEATH OF POMPEY will follow, and with this development, he turns his back on tragicomedy (LE CID).
