Very rare Tintin calendar holder representing the cover page of the album "The Crab with the Golden Claws".

This appliqué on 4mm plywood with application of a protective "matt" varnish on both sides comes from a series of 4 screen-printed boards forming part of the 'The amateur artist' series, intended to make various displays yourself. (see last photo).
This series was produced in 1954 by the Belgian company Obra, Tool and Accessories Store.
There were plans to make a calendar holder, a coat rack, a wall sconce, and a cactus shelf.

Good general condition except:
Missing Tintin at the top left (see photos).
Very slight lack on the right of Tintin's camel (see photos).
