Very rare Tintin calendar holder representing the cover page of the album "Le crabe aux pinces d'or".

This appliqué on 4mm plywood with application of a "matt" protective varnish on both sides comes from a series of 4 screen-printed boards that are part of the 'L'artiste amateur' series, intended to make various displays. (see last picture)
This series was produced in 1954 by the Belgian company Obra, Store of tools and accessories.
There were plans to make a calendar holder, a coat rack, a wall sconce, a cactus holder shelf.

Missing top left of Tintin (see photos)
