Very rare wears Tintin calendar representing the cover of the album "The crab with the golden claws".
NOTE THAT THE PHOTO OF THE PAPER PLAN COMES AS A GUIDE ONLY. THE PAPER PLAN IS NOT INCLUDED IN THIS SALE.
This 4mm plywood applied with a protective "mat" varnish on both sides comes from a series of 4 screen-printed boards that are part of the 'Amateur Artist' series, designed to make various displays yourself. (see last photo)
This series was produced in 1954 by the Belgian company Obra, Tool and Accessories Store.
There were plans to make a calendar door, a coat rack, a wall appliqué, a cactus-carrying shelf.

34.5cm x 18cm.
Good general condition except:
Missing top left of Tintin (see photos)
Very slight missing to the right of the tintin camel (see photos)
