Original photo depicting a soldier probably from the Imperial Russian Army.
Note the nose clip glasses, the wool cloth cap and uniform, the rounded right collar, the two breast pockets with buttons, the shoulder pads and the cigarette in hand.
Very good condition except slight horizontal cut to the right in the white outline (see photos)
This photo is probably from an old photo album. We notice a layer of black on the back due to the peeling off of the black paper of the album.
