11 News, many of which address the sci-fi theme that had hitherto been little taken up in Quebec literature.
Journalist, essayist, novelist, Jean-Charles Harvey (1891-1967) became famous in 1934 following the scandal related to the publication of the novel "The Half-civilized" in which the characters indulge in drugs, adultery and alcoholism. Condemned by the clergy, he lost his job at the newspaper "The Sun".
