Pre-published in 1939 in the newspaper "Hearts Valiants" under the title "Jo Zette and Jocko in the land of the Maharajah", and then under the current title in the "Tintin Journal" in 1953-4, the "Valley of the Cobras" was not published as an album until 1956.
The drawings come from a collaboration between Hergé, JACQUES MARTIN and BOB DE MOOR.
