Scandal in the mind Georges Lévesque (Sept. 25, 1951 – August 23, 2011) montreal fashion designer, he began making his clothes in the 1970s. He opened his boutique in 1977, where he launched with Michèle Hamel the Pur Hasard collection, exported to Paris and New York.
After this cycle, the couturier then met Marie-Josée Gagnon, owner of the thrift store Scandale, and launched his label, Georges Lévesque for Scandale. Asymmetry, fluidity, sensuality characterize his creations. "He knew how to give movement to matter," summarizes Ms. Gagnon.

Georges Lévesque received the Elle-Québec Designer Award in 1995, the year he participated in an exhibition at the Centre d'exposition de l'Université du Québec à Montréal.
The Scandale boutique is still located on Saint-Laurent Street in Montreal and sells women's clothing, exclusive local creations and international imports.
